Change default display name
Hey everyone,
As you can see, I have changed my name to 'Admin'. I would like to prevent this from happening. Instead, I think it's better to display the username or nickname rather than the first and last name
Yes, some restrictions on the first and last name would be nice (make it customizable as well).
I added a ⭐ emoji to my last name to make a statement, but nobody seemed to be concerned with it lol
Having a list of words that can't be used on "name" can be helpful; but it's MOST important that it can't be used/changed on nickname.
This seems to be very useful for those who are planning to allow anybody enter/post on their communities.
Just did a search to see if this was an option. Would love to have the ability to have users set a display name instead of their real name. It's a privacy issue with some people.
So is this still not a feature? Is there not a simple way to not show a user's first and last name? There are many communities that I'm sure members would only want their usernames shown. Anyone know how we can hide real names and only show usernames?
