Can't access "Access Management" settings
I have about 10 Groups with between 50-135 Spaces per group. Adding this amount of groups and spaces makes management on the back end a nightmare. I can't access "Access Management" settings any longer because the browser crashes. It doesn't seem like the plugin can scale with large quantities of groups & spaces.
Muhammed SeitzΒ have you checked if your server can handle this?
Debo OgunrindeΒ My server is powerful enough :-) I just think it's a UI/UX problem for admin. Management of spaces/groups/topics/access needs to be handled better. I don't think the developers developed the plugin with my use case scenario in mind. I would still like to add a substantial amount of more groups and spaces but I don't see this as feasible with the current development state of the plugin. I might have to do multiple communities/spaces across subdomains, each with it's own plugin.
Just curious...how is performance on the front end for users with that many spaces?
Thomas OatesΒ Performance for frontend users is working fine so far, but the groups on the sidebar becomes too much. Other than that, performance wise it's ok. It's the backend that's the problem
I have also noticed this when trying to edit a course. Once I switched from Docker to X Cloud, it takes a lot longer to load the course page. The front end is a lot snappier.
