Can someone please let me know how I add current users of a site into communities? Do I import somehow?

Sella Yoffe

As far as i can tell, at the moment you can do it manually or using FluentCRM automation.

Sella Yoffe, is this manual way, the way Not Important πŸ˜‡ mentioned below?

Luke Barrett if a user is already created in the wp-admin > users then go to > Members from the top menu > Look for a member > Activate the user status

If you want the user to be the Admin/Manager then go to #Manage from left pane > Settings > Managers > +Add Manager

PS. to avoid SOD (Segregation/Separation of Duty) issues I encourage you to test users access with Public Groups first (there might be access permissions challenges when Group/Course is private)

Not Important πŸ˜‡, Thank you so much for your reply. Based on your answer, it seems as if there is an issue with my setup. Not sure where I'm going wrong with this.
I have a bunch inΒ wp-admin > users.Β I have the site set forΒ everyoneΒ to access. When I go toΒ Members,Β only my profile card shows, no other.

I have Bricks builder theme. I imported users only from another bb site, with wpvivid.
They came over and can see them inΒ wp-admin > users,Β but not in communities.

Luke Barrett, for testing purpose... please ask the user to log in with his credentials to this link: domain.com/portal

Why? Because currently I believe that the person needs to log-in to the specific URL: domain.com/portal for the first time in order to be visible on the Members list for the admin so the Admin can accept new users manually etc.

Further troubleshooting... If this didn`t help please add the user in the #Manage from left pane > Settings > Managers > +Add Manager and grand the user: Course Creator role.

Once this is done try to log in with the user credentials again (browser incognito mode).

If the workaround aka "end user must first log-in" works then the Admin can add the user to the Members list and we need to wait for the solution how to invite users to the /portal.

Share your feedback once tested. I hope it helped.

Note: there might be a case where you have 100 users in your WP-Admin console but only few of them you want to be visible in the /portal - probably that is why you don`t see all those users automatically populated in to the Members area.

Note2: not all clients wants to use CRM to manage user access to fCommunity therefore there must a be an easy way how to manage users without any additional plugins.
