Can someone please help me with my problems with uploading pictures? I keep trying to upload pictures to use for my headers and it just say "Failed to upload"
I really want to buy and use this but not if I can't upload the images.
I can get images to show on pages but even though it says I can upload an image, the only option I have is to add a url, which means having to log out, go to my wordpress media area, get the url, then open the community back up, then find the page I want to load the image to again and finally being able to upload the image. A real pain in the ass when I should be able to just upload and image strait off.
And again, this doesn't work with the headers. The images just fail. I have used both jpeg and PNG's.
Are you using any performance plugins? Where are you hosting? what size is the image? what format is the image in?
Ryk Melck,Not sure about the performance plug ins, I'm hosing in bluehost, the size is the recommended size and I tried both jpeg and png. I also have optimize press as my website theme.
I just checked the performance plug ins and I have jetpack and jetpack boost. Should I try deactivating those and trying to upload images then?
Don Parkhurst jr, bluehost is cheap, but they are also one of the worst hosting providers. Only they can help you resolve this.
Ryk Melck, I've had it for years and never had any real problems until now if it has anything to do with it.
Don Parkhurst jr, ok. Something is getting in the way. Are you using any security plugins. I had issues with Wordfence during the Beta release.
Did you check the name of your file? Perhaps, it contains some characters which are not accepted when uploading the file

Mike Fury No I haven't figured it out. The only thing I can think of is that maybe I need to connect to Amazon S3 but I would need to fork out the $200 to try it out because it's only in the paid version. Asides from that I have no idea what is going on.
