Call for Beta Testing - FluentCommunity Theme Compatibility
As you know, we are working hard on the Theme Compatibility Feature. We are releasing this feature as a beta. We also created a tiny plugin to make the testing super easy.
How to install the beta:
- Download from Github: click here to download
- Install on your WordPress site (Staging preferred)
- Activate the plugin
- Go to the Dashboard -> Fluent Toolkit menu in the WordPress admin panel
- You will see a list of all Fluent Plugins that are available as a beta
- Install the stable or beta version of the plugin you want to test

Installed on my local wp testing environment, tested on few different pages, and it's working absolutely fine, no issues 👏

I really like the use of a Page Template. That suggests I can have my WordPress pages either inside or outside of the community, which is precisely what I want.
It also seems that a WordPress page could use 3rd party blocks, Elementor, Bricks, etc. Have you discovered any conflicts with those tools for pages using the FluentCommunity template?
I'm going to grab this and test it out.
William Beem should work on any page builder as long as it’s loading the page template.
does it work with elementor as well?
i'm asking because i tried it now and i see no change in the page template

By the way, it works great with Elementor and other page builders. Not sure how they manage the page templates. But not ideally for sure.

Donald McGuinn clear your cache (object cache) and it should show up.

Donald McGuinn Just released 1.3.4.beta.2 of FluentCommunity. You can update from the toolkit plugin right now. This will fix the problem.
Getting an issue with the avatar sizing on dropdown while on the page. I also noticed the page templates are not returning the CSS styling I placed for the portal on these template portal pages.

First things I can see now:
- The avatar ist not showing in dropdown menu (screenshot)
- It shows in FluentMessaging always a "0" (screenshot)
- We have a way to do pages like /portal/xyz , so same slug from FluentCommunity?

This may be slightly off-topic, but like many other clients, I would like to include a quiz at the end of each lesson to assess learners' progress. Will this functionality be available in the future? Would it be possible to achieve this using FluentForm, perhaps through a shortcode?
I can select the fluent community template for a page built in Bricks, but only the title of the page is displayed within fluent community when loading it. Shahjahan Jewel jewel Pages built with wp load ok, but the left pane with the menu items shrinks (text becomes smaller) when going from a regular fcom content to the wp page

Question:
Now when you're inside the community and click on a link to a page that's not native to the community - it refreshes the whole page. Any plans on keeping it SPA and only the div where the content is shown will be refreshed but the sidebars will continue to show?
Also regarding the chat - any plans to make it like a popup on the screen?
It works more or less well on my end. Here are a few issues I noticed:
- My login button is normally black, but here it no longer has a background.
- The height of the menu bar is slightly larger.
- This might be an issue on my side, but I no longer see my icon in front of the title of this space.

Le No-Codeur Shahjahan Jewel if you are using SVGs, one thing I noticed is if the SVG code contains height and width then in normal spaces then the size is corrected, in "Portal Pages" the size isn't.
I used NounProject for icons and their SVGs all have size preset - I just deleted that from the SVG codes and it fixed it.

Shahjahan Jewel I tried FluentMessaging Beta but it doesn't seem to be optimized for Mobile, Chat on Mobile should be optimized in list display format (icon & Name) instead of just icon which is very difficult to choose. For example: the image below right is Bettermode Chat with list view 😏

Michal Paczula Maybe it will not work with BuddyBoss theme as they handle templates so differently. If you use FluentCommunity not sure why you need that super heavy, slow theme.

I dont know how make shop page and blog page work with fluent iframe. I try but I give up.
Michal Paczula With Woo you can use the Account page, but pages like Store, Checkout are currently not available.

Bug report - RTL sites:
On pages using the theme compatibility -
there is a problem with the popup menu of the user icon. It doesn't show up correctly. Also, suddenly the chat bubble get a 0 indication (which doesn't happen on regular community pages. Shahjahan Jewel

After a quick test - like it a lot!
Testing – as per attached image – in ELEMENTOR – I’m not able to remove the "Page Title".
When I’m working in pure Elementor, I have control over this using the Canvas or Full Width templates, but since we need to select the "FluentCommunity Frame" template, it seems we’re facing this visual limitation.
In other words, it’s as if I wanted to use the ELEMENTOR CANVAS (a clean layout to insert whatever I want) inside the Fluent template.
Is that possible?
Is it compatible with Oxygen/Breakdance, as theme are avoided?

Is there no way to get this left side hamburger menu to be aligned right instead? At least make it an option to have it align right for most right handed folks using their phones. I think a better solution would be to make the Avatar's drop down menu become the menu selection.
Has anyone tested it with Bricks Builder? I tried it, but it doesn’t seem to work. The template is there, and I can click on “edit with bricks”, but after adding content and saving, the only thing I’m able to see is the title of the page. Maybe I’m just doing something wrong. Thank you!

Shahjahan Jewel Does not seem to be working with Bricks Builder. Ive turned off other plugins in case. There was a new full width option that came up and I tried this but it just seemed to remove the heading but the rest of the page is blank. Got the frame but no contents.
I tried making the home page a template and could get the shortcode to show the page that way but the sections were mixed up eg out of the 4 sections, the first section showed in place but the 4th one showed in second place and so on, mixing them out of order.
this is with the beta 3...
