Business Page (CRM + Community + Paymattic + Board)
A “Business Page” feature could add a lot of value to the community plugin. Fluent CRM has a similar concept where multiple contacts can connect to a single business, and having this in the community plugin would allow for similar mapping. It would also make it much easier to integrate the CRM directly with the community, offering a more seamless experience for users associated with the same organization.
I don't understand what you mean🤔
Linda Rando Imagine we’re building a community for professionals where businesses and their employees can join. In Fluent CRM, there’s a feature allowing multiple contacts (individuals) to be associated with a single business entity. This way, the CRM can track all communications and engagements with everyone from a specific company.
If the community plugin had a “Business Page” feature, it would work similarly: each business would have its own profile or page in the community. Here’s how it could play out:
1. Business Page Creation: Let’s say “Tech Solutions” is a business that joins the community. We create a “Tech Solutions” Business Page in the plugin.
2. Multiple User Association: Various team members from Tech Solutions (e.g., Alice, Bob, and Carol) join the community. They can all connect to the Tech Solutions Business Page, signaling they’re employees of the same company.
3. Community Interaction: Now, within the community, employees of Tech Solutions can share updates, join discussions, and engage on the Business Page, making it a hub for company-specific interaction. This could be useful for organizing internal discussions, sharing updates relevant to their organization, or finding other community members in the same industry.
