More to the problem with multiple like instances in the dropdown list, and inaccurate count:

I unliked a post (realizing my own mistake in not noticing something), and my name was correctly removed from the dropdown list, but my avatar (sitar) remained in the horizontal avatars bar.

Update: this aspect seems to have been fixed upon page reload, but bugs at above link persist.
