Bug: Image Type *.heic is Not Supported
The image type .heic (iOS) is not supported. However, the file type selection suggests that .heic is supported.
Do I have to set this on the web server, or is this a bug?
For now, we don’t support heic but let me check if we can support that in the next version.

Stacey Herndon, we are working on it. Users need to have the ImageMagick PHP module with HEIC file type support. Can be checked from:
WordPress Admin Dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info > Media Handling
Tawsif Ahmed Riyad Mine is set like this. It's happening when they try to upload an image on mobile. I have a highly visual business and photo sharing is a major component. Is there anything else I can do?
Stacey Herndon, I have already done the work for heic format, created a pull request, my team lead will review it, I hope it will be merged (accepted) and it will come in the next release.
