Broken chat images -- HELP PLEASE!

Has anyone found a solution to the broken images in chat? It's frustrating this problem has existed for months with no help from support. I reached out to our developer and he said, "its related to third-party plugin issue not a wordpress related issue. We don’t have any access to fix this kind of issue in this plugin."
