Artur Abakarov Cool. I didn't know that was a thing, but someone else reached out to me based on these videos. A man from Santiago wrote a nice email yesterday wanting to hire me for his community. At the end of the email, he said he doesn't speak English. Whatever did his translation was perfect. Thanks for sharing.

Hoang Hxn If you use Yandex Browser to watch YouTube, you will have options to translate the author's voice. This way you can learn useful videos in any language)

William Beem Watching the video you got me interested in taking a look at Better Messages and it looked nice. However I was somewhat shocked that as admin I can see all conversations. Now that is a mayor issue since that is not what I consider private. Am I missing something here, or do people not care?
J V You raise a good point. If I can look at other people's messages, I haven't noticed how to do it. Perhaps that's because I don't care to do it.
Putting on my corporate IT security hat, this is definitely a feature I would want. If you ever have some kind of legal issue regarding your site, you need the ability, as site owner or administrator, to access all the data on your site.
Otherwise, do you want to be uncooperative when law enforcement comes around to investigate drug smuggling, child trafficking, or something else going on privately on your site? It may sound far-fetched, but it's a possibility.
William Beem They don't have a right to see all communication and in my opinion to not use encryption is a joke. You need to inform people that their messages are not private in this case.
It is simply in the administration btw and I have a hard time imagining your corporate IT hat missed it. ;)
For now I will be sitting back on this one and see if it happens in the future. Until then I guess chat will be limited, until I find something else.
Update: I just saw the encryption is only available with the upgraded version, so still not for me.
J V Well, choice is your prerogative. I can tell you that corporations monitor everything, they log everything, and whatever someone does on their network or environment can be used to litigate against the business. Whether you like that or not is up to you, but that's reality. If you don't want to use Better Messaging for this reason, it's no skin off my ass.
