Sharing my first thoughts or even ideas for fBoards/fRoadmap - some could be even #featurerequest I guess.
- possibility to hide Community link from the WP admin menu as our clients/other WP users shouldn`t see this link (avoid their confusion). fBoards Admin should be able to decide whether this Community link is displayed in Wordpress top menu or not.
-
darkmode including also frontend view: fBoards/fRoadmap
-
ability to publish to PUBLIC fluentboards (not only fRoadmap voting page) with view only permission (hide all sensitive details like: users, comments, attachments etc) - Ability to Show/Hide Kanban, List or Calendar limited info in Public custom page (via shortcode). Of course admin could decide which elements he wants to show in Public view for fBoards details (pre-sets could be specify like: No details to display, Show details without users data (anonymous), Show everything - all details on Kanban cards, Show custom details view ;)
-
option to disable "View WordPress Profile" button or even this WP feature for logged users so for example: logged stakeholders or even a client wont digg to much in our wordpress in case they have access only to fBoard (not dealing with other parts of Wordpress). Maybe we could have Wordpress dedicated role implemented with fBoard frontview access only without possibility to access any other wordpress admin components at all.
-
implement option for translation every single aspect of fBoards and fRoadmap (including text for:\ - descriptions, nav menu, charts, tables, filters, tooptips, titles, notifications,\ -warnings: example: "Sorry no feature request items found based on your filter"\ - form pre fill hints: example "Write your thoughts", "Your Full Name", or "Search" in search box\ - footprints - example: * Denotes mandatory field\ - popup text etc).
-
for Roadmap Rules popup window implement ability to enter own text like the text Please read before sumit a features request.
It would be nice to enter text for our Rules with text formatting options like ability to enter: our link to Privacy Policy, enter lists of requrements, boldness formatting etc

it is very hard to translate this plugin for non english users (frontend, backend). You could provide a separate form in the fBoards settings where admin could see each word userd by the plugin and next to it he could provide his own translated description (unless you are planning to have langage switch for this plugin). External WP translators are not being able to translate fBoard/fRoadmap plugin yet.
-
for fRoadmap frontend public page all styles should be inheritted from our default CSS/Theme or ability to provide custom css link or css code/class etc. in the fBoards/fRoadmap settings
-
ability to change fBoards Pro logo to custom logo/link (or disable it) in Pro version.
-
to consider option for fRoadmap to enable or disable by admin the Email form field for ideas submittion. Not all visitors wants to provide email address or they provide a fake one.
Question... where those emails from visitors are store if they provided? Is there any email address validation method to be implemented? It would be nice to have double opt-in verification for email provided from visitors who are submitting ideas, posting comments etc.
Lets give the power to fBoards admin to decide if he wants to collect emails and if yes if those emails needs to be verified via double opt-in method (link being sent to page visitor on the provided email).
Maybe also captcha feature (similar option like with fForms) would be nice to implement for posting ideas or comments with fRoadmap.
-
for fRoadmap possbility to Show/Hide buttons +Submit Idea and/or Login/Signup button - in case admin doesnt want to present those buttons for a visitors at all (but just want to present his internal team to publish verified from other channels (like via fForm) ideas. A client could have other dedicated custom Page or instructions send via email what is the url/way for sumitting ideas and there is no need to Submit ideas by a visitor. \ Also in case on one-way communication for fRoadmap only users who has access to fBoards could assigning new ideas and visitors could only see the end results and vote for them or comment.

for fBoards frontend option you revael WP-LOGIN/WP-ADMIN url (you dont have to provide any credentials in the Please login to view the project form - once you submit button WP redirects you to your WP-ADMIN url. So it is easy to discover this path in case someone wants to hide it (and changed it with a plugin like: WPS Hide login. Let fBoards/fRoadmap admin decide what link or short text he want to display in everyplace where users is required to login by fForms or fRoadmap or just to redirect those users to a specific URL where admin wants.
Thanks for the detailed feedback. Tagging Masiur Rahman Siddiki to take a note for this post.
