Product Customizations
I mentioned FluentCart to one of my clients today. One of his concerns was about how customers can customize their products. He sells welding caps. There are many different styles, but it seems that they can also be customized - for example, by embroidering a name or other design.
His other concerns are inventory management and he uses authenticate.net for a payment gateway. I'm guessing I could convince him to move to Stripe (they also use PayPal), but I think the product customization is definitely a concern.
I've been in merch and custom apparel since 1988..... the amount of friction we have with FluentCart has just started..... im hopeful in my lifetime we can have a more flexible plugin we can all work with.... Custom Welding Caps or Custom Jerseys or Ball Caps.... inventory- cut and sew - production - variable data - distributed manufacturing and assembly ..... i'm not sure FluentCart has the pocket book to hire a consultant to bridge this GAP in tool.... (we can hope) as i have an entire manufacturing network that could use what we dream of....
