Is it just me, or is it not possible to click on images embedded in posts and comments to view them in a larger size? The only way I can see them bigger is by opening them in a new tab, which seems inconvenient?

Pat on mobile if there are a few images you can click one and it then you will see it in a popup where you can zoom in/out - I am not sure what are the popup rules for attachment in Desktop but it would be nice to always open attached images with popup/modal (Admin could configure this feature) and able to zoom in/out, rotate etc

ps. Comments cannot include 4 attachments (only 1 att) so I am unable to give you an example but when you create a post with 4 attachments then you will be able to click on each and see the image in the popup/modal window.

Mat, On desktop I can't seem to open any images on popup/modal. No matter if it's a post or a comment (only tried on google chrome). :( I haven't tried on mobile.

Shahjahan Jewel could we fix the issue with opening attached images in a popup/modal window. Currently when there is only 1 attachment added it cannot be displayed in a popup/modal window on Desktop/Mobile. But when we add multiple attachments like: 4 then we can see them in a popup/modal windowa.

Example: post with 4 attachments here - we can open attachments with the popup/modal window with this post. Another example: post with 1 attachment here - we cannot open the attachment with the popup/modal.

Whats funny is that when you add at first 4 attachments and submit the post and then edit this post and remove 3 attachments (so only 1 attachment stays assigned to that post) then that 1 leftover attachment can be open in the popup/modal.

Since in comments we cannot add more than 1 attachment we cannot display it in a popup/modal window.

Not sure how it works with Mobile but this is what we find out here.

ps. also when there are multiple attachments added the background in a Dark Mode is still as in Light mode - background case for multiple attachments only.
