Why not having a single plugin and to activate the pro version is only a license? Instead of having a free plugin and another pro plugin. I would like to see just one plugin with all features.
Agree with this. I really dislike the practice of having two plugins. I know that many developers are going that route (there must be some benefit to it), but I sure dislike it.
It's because, the core version will be freely available in the wp org repository. It's easier to manage and add features.
I will give you an example: Astra its free and when you buy the option of Pro, only need the Pass to unlock features. I mention this as a recommendation.
