Taking an online course to learn more about digital marketing and e-commerce to fuel my new business. I am hoping that Fluent Cart will be able to be used for e-commerce, not just physical, digital, and software. Please support selling services!

I have a client whom wants to use a chat plugin but they only want it offline. Having a contact form available for anyone to fill out. I was thinking of adding a tutorial for this aspect of WP Social Ninja but support told me that the plugin does not offer this feature.

So I went thinking about this feature. Currently there is a Greeting Message. This should be split into Online Greeting Message and Offline Greeting Message. As the message will chance depending on the on or off state of the chat.

As one might write: We are available and will be with you in a moment - when chat is on.
One might write: We are currently away please leave a message -then a embeded fluent forms is seen- user sends the form to get help when the chat is off.

So two aspects that would help alot.
- An online and an offline greeting message with the possibility with different messages. That is directed toward the on or off aspect.
- Being able to add a shortcode for a form. Making it possible to send a message.

Does anyone know if Fluentcart will let us create subscriptions and offer a free trial period?

I'm using almost every piece of fluent software available. Of course, I'd like to use it the right way and that leads to design questions for my system landscape. What would be your suggestions considering the following statements?

Wordpress instances:

  • main website uses www.xyz.com (= currently the only website, all plugins installed there)
  • landingpages should be hosted on a subdomain lp.xyz.com (for seo and performance reasons)
  • community (at a later point) should be hosted on a subdomain portal.xyz.com (for performance reasons)

I'm currently trying to solve some challenges:

  • booking calendars/forms should be available on both www. and lp.
  • bookings should be visible in one central location (www. ?)
  • forms should be available on both www. and lp.
  • forms should be used to mainly signup into crm
  • where should crm be hosted? (www. or separate instance)

What I could find out:

  • sending signups from www. and lp. to the crm is possible (on of them via webhooks)
  • booking into the same calendar is possible

The main challenges are:

  • having forms available in both www. and lp. while having form entries in one single location
  • having booking calendars/forms available in both www. and lp. while having the booking entries in one single location
  • keeping all the instances as clean and fast and secure as possible

Also, I was wondering what would be the recommended setup. Having everything in one place (one server with enough speed and power) or is a distributed setup also recommended in certain cases? How about multisite setups, are these supported at all and how would I deal regarding licensing? You see, there's a lot going through my mind at the moment. So I'd appreciate any hint, recommendation, feedback - even stories about failed attempts to achieve comparable/similar scenarios would help (prevent the re-invention of wheels).

PS: I'm posting in this space to not scatter my topic across many spaces and confusing people too much. πŸ˜…

I’m a sure, many of us, have great β€œsuccess stories” using fluent products.

Just an idea for the team and Shahjahan Jewel so as to gather reviews or testimonials in a closer way πŸ˜„

I think it is also inspiring to read how other pals are implementing fluent products πŸ’ͺ

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

When I park/add an additional domain to a site within xCloud, the parked domains all result in an SSL error when going to the https version of the URL.

This is synonymous across all of my sites that have additional domains attached to it.

Going to the non-HTTPS URL redirects just fine.

I've raised this with xCloud support, and they are looking into it.

Just curious if anyone else is being affected and if you have been able to resolve this?

EDIT: these domains have been added in xCloud for many months now. These are not newly added domains.

xCloud SSL issue?

I decided to make a video where I look through a lot of the Fluent plugins.
Focusing on the user interface (UI and UX). How the flow of elements are in relation to each other. Here is a 19 minute general overview. I believe it is helpful to compare the UI/UX of various plugins to get a feel for what should be consistent. Which user interface features work well and which does not. Using what works well across multiple plugins. https://youtu.be/fpKEY-1QT4M

EDIT...
Here is a written form of most of the general feedback that I gave.

FluentCRM. Has a very long WP left submenu. Even has hr lines between some of these. Needs to be cleaned up. Has a very good Dashboard with clear sections. Good and clear navigation in the top of the screen.

Fluent Forms. Has an Upgrade to Pro button that takes away attention from the navigation in the top. Could tighten the WP left submenu. Good overview of the (All) Forms. It gives space to notice what is on the screen.

Fluent Boards. Dashboard. A bit confusing. Navigation. A Get Pro in the middle top.
Recently Opened. My Tasks. Could be adjusted for better clarity

Fluent Support. Dashboard. Feels like an older version and could use a good update. Upgrade to Pro button is a part of the navigation. The submenu works here as it does not have a lot of items in it.

Fluent Booking. Dashboard does not give a good overview, but focuses on Events. The function of the toggle is unclear. It would likely be helpful with a separate Events screen not tied in with the Dashboard. A dashboard is meant as an overview screen. I have a client to where I plan on testing Booking and look forward to giving more feedback to the Booking plugin and how it works for me. WP left submenu works

FluentCart. Has a lot of items in the left WP submenu. Product related items to instead be added into the Products screen. Keeping information where it is most likely needed. First time going to FluentCart brings confetti and a popup with a blurred background and a Congratulations. Not happy about this. It feels totally off.

WP Social Ninja (Should rebranded to Fluent Social). Has an awesome Platforms/Dashboard screen. A very messy WP left menu submenu with yellow upgrade text, red background New button etc.

FluentSnippets. Totally ok Snippets screen. A good plugin to create code snippets.

FluentAuth. Feels tightest of all the plugins. Has a good Dashboard screen. Good navigation. It showed the needed information where it should be. Has a good focus to where my attention should go.

Fluent Community. It would be good to not use animation. I am not sure what to say about this Dashboard screen. Gaining inspiration from WP Social Ninja would be good. As this is a good information space to be even better used.

I am taking a deep dive into this coursera online class called Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Professional Certificate, so I can learn to leverage these WPMN tools to achieve business success by reaching my target audience, put them in my funnel, and of course convert into paying customers. Since this is a group of mostly kind and generous people doing that stuff for a living, I wondered what kind of answers I might find here if I just asked.

BTW, low budget here. I am willing to spend $100 to make $150 - $200, if I really need to pay for some tool, but prefer buying software, not renting, prefer trading time and energy to learn than paying someone else to do it for me, and prefer using my vibe coding skills to do create simple wp plugins than buy simple plugins.

I've been using Fluent SMTP.

Using standard procedures, I configure three providers.

BREVO,
Mailtrap,
AmazonSES

However, I need each provider to have a different email address.
