[SOLVED] R2: Associated files are not deleted when a post is removed, leading to orphaned data and increased costs.
[UPDATE] You have to wait for few hours and those images will be deleted.
When a post is created, associated files are uploaded to R2 storage. However, if the post is later deleted, these corresponding R2 files are not being removed.
Impact: This behavior causes orphaned files to accumulate in the R2 bucket, unnecessarily increasing storage usage and potentially leading to higher service costs over time.
Expected Behavior: Deleting a post should trigger the deletion of its associated files from the R2 bucket.
Actual Behavior: Files associated with deleted posts remain in the R2 bucket.
We delete the file as a bulk, and those files will be deleted within 1-2 hours max. Can you check after a few hours?

Shahjahan Jewel can you please tell me, if I restore a full backup of the server, then the created but no longer relevant files in S3 are also deleted? Does the server somehow communicate with S3 to check the lists? I would be very grateful if you could answer
Shahjahan Jewel trying S3 from vk cloud, settings via wp-config. After deleting posts with pictures from the feed, even after 10 hours they are not deleted from S3. What can this be connected with?
